Titus is from Mansfield, Tennessee and attended Henry County High School. He qualified for state cross country championships 4 times with 3 top ten finishes, including a state championship his senior year. As a senior, he qualified for Foot Locker Nationals, placing 6th in the South Regional. He also found success on the track in the 3200m, where he was 6th as a sophomore, 2nd as a junior, and state champion as a senior. A 7-time All State honoree, his high school personal bests included 4:20 in the 1600m and 8:52 in the 3200m.

Titus chose to continue his running career at Southern Indiana University and majored in Sport Management. At Southern Indiana, he was the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Champion in the 3000m in 7:57 and 5000m in 13:38. Between track and cross country, he was a 7-time All-American, 11-time All-Region honoree, and 7-time All-Conference honoree. Titus then finished out his eligibility at Iowa State University for the 2022-23 seasons. At the NCAA DI level, he was an All-Regional runner in cross country, placing 10th and earning a spot at the National Championship. Indoors, he ran personal bests of 4:00 (mile) and 7:54 (3000m).

Titus joined Minnesota Distance Elite in September of 2023. In the spring of 2024 finished 2nd at the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle and had several consistent sub-14 minute 5K races. He has continued to excel in the 3K to 10K range with a 3rd place finish at the Victory 10K, 9th place finish at the USATF Cross Country Championships, and two low 13:40 minute 5K performances on the track. Coming from a running family (both his parents, his brothers Silas and Javan, and sister Dinah are all runners), Titus is a natural competitor and will keep pushing his limits on the track and the roads.
