Olivia grew up in Yorkville, Illinois and attended Yorkville High School. There, she was part of a state champion cross country team and three state runner up cross country teams. As a senior in 2018, she ran with her team at the Nike Cross Nationals race. In track, she was part of a school record 4x800m relay team and qualified for state in both individual and relay events. She left high school with PRs of 2:20 (800m), 5:11 (1600m), 10:51 (3200m), and 18:53 (5000m XC).
Olivia was recruited to run at DePaul University, where she got her undergraduate degree in Writing and Rhetoric and a masters in Creative Writing and Publishing. While she competed as a Blue Demon she racked up big performances including breaking school records in the mile (4:42.44), 3K (9:15.67), and DMR, top ten placings at Big East Conference Championships, and earning All-Region honors twice at the Midwest Cross Country Regional Championships.
Prior to joining Minnesota Distance Elite in the summer of 2025, Olivia placed 5th at the USATF 4 Mile Championships, raced her first 10K at Save the 10,000m with Des and Kara, and placed 6th in the Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon in 1:13:39. Under the guidance of the MDE coaches, she has solidified her interest in the mid-length road races, but will continue to push herself on the track as well.
