Favorite pre race meal: Brown sugar poptarts
Pre race pump up song: sweater weather by the neighborhood
Funniest mid race though: “this pace is starting to hurt, what if I dropped out and and hid in the bushes and just acted like I injured myself” (never dropped out of a race in my life)
11 x All conference
NCAA DI National Qualifier in the 800m.
Adam grew up outside of Chicago in Carpentersville, IL where he attended Dundee-Crown High School. He ran cross country and track in high school, breaking the challenging 2 minute barrier in the 800 meters with a 1:56 finish as a junior.

Adam was recruited to Eastern Illinois University where he specialized in the 800m. He experienced early success despite missing a season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was named Ohio Valley Conference Male Track Athlete of the Year and Male Freshman of the Year. Throughout his time as a Panther, he was an 11-time All-Conference honoree and an NCAA DI National Qualifier in the 800m. In addition to his performances on the track, Adam helped his team on the cross country course running the second fastest time in the 8K in school history. He finished his collegiate career with personal bests of 1:47.66 (800m), 3:46.91 (1500m), and 4:03.56 (mile).

Adam had a momentous first calendar year with MDE after joining in August of 2024. He broke his PR in the indoor mile in only his second track race with the team, ran consistent 1:49s in the 800, and lowered his 1500 meter best from 3:46 to 3:41. He was also able to take home the win at the Ryan Shay Mile in Charlevoix, Michigan in an impressive 3:55.1. In future seasons, Adam will continue to focus on middle distance racing on the track.
