NCAA Second Team All-American NCAA Championships Qualifier
Kaytlyn ran for Lakeville South High School, where she was a multiple-time All-State performer and one of Minnesota’s top middle-distance runners. She went on to compete for Oklahoma State University, where she developed into a standout half-miler. During her time in Stillwater, she qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 800 meters and earned Second Team All-America honors. She finished her collegiate career with personal bests of 2:04.21 in the 800 meters and 4:21 in the 1500 meters.
After graduating in 2020, Kaytlyn took some time away from competition but stayed connected to the sport through her work at TC Running Company in the Twin Cities. Her passion for racing resurfaced while training for some longer road races, leading her to join Minnesota Distance Elite. Since then, she’s made strong progress across multiple events, lowering her 1500m best to 4:17 and running a personal best of 16:06 on the roads for 5K.
