Minneapolis/St. Paul – April 2, 2019 – Team USA Minnesota’s Breanna Sieracki will open her outdoor track season at the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe on April 5; Meghan Peyton, Danny Docherty, Tyler and Katy Jermann will compete at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile in D.C. on April 7; and Heather Kampf returns to Boston on April 13 to run in the B.A.A. Invitational Mile.
At the Sun Angel Stadium, Sieracki will race in the women’s 5000 meters. She has a best of 16:10 in the distance and is looking for a new personal best.
Out in Washington, D.C., the Jermann’s will follow-up their 2018 appearance at the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile where they posted bests of 49:41 (Tyler) and 54:59 (Katy) in last year’s race. Also making a return to the event will be Docherty, who last ran the race in 2017 and has a best of 49:39.
Peyton will mark her first appearance in the nation’s capital at the 47th running of the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile, which starts and finishes at 7:30 a.m. (Eastern time) adjacent to the Washington Monument Grounds. She has a best in the distance of 55:09.
Kampf will be in Boston for the start of marathon weekend to compete at the B.A.A. Invitational Mile on Saturday, April 13. The women’s mile begins at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern). Kampf was second in the B.A.A. Mile in both 2016 and 2015, and finished third in 2013. She has a best in the road mile of 4:19.80.
