Heather to Compete at USA 1 Mile Road Champs 4/23;Breanna to Run Steeple at Drake Relays 4/25

Minneapolis/St. Paul – April 22, 2019 – Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf will compete in the USATF 1 Mile Road Championships in downtown Des Moines on April 23.  The championships, hosted by the 10th annual Grand Blue Mile, features a professional women’s field at 7:15 p.m. followed by the professional men.


Kampf is a four-time USATF 1 Mile Road Champion (2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016) and has a best on the road in the distance of 4:19.8.  She most recently placed fourth in the B.A.A. Invitational Mile on April 13 with a time of 4:40.8.


At the Drake Relays, held on the Drake University blue oval track, Breanna Sieracki will run in the 3000-meter women’s steeplechase event on April 25 at 7:08 p.m.  Sieracki has posted a best of 9:56 in the steeple.


On the concluding day of the Drake Relays, Kampf will run in the women’s invitational 1500 meter race at 2:04 p.m. on April 27.  She has a best of 4:04.46 in the 1500m.
