Minneapolis/St. Paul – May 14, 2019 – Team USA Minnesota’s Breanna Sieracki and Kevin Lewis will both compete in the 5000 meters at the USATF Distance Classic that will be held at Jack Kemp Stadium in Los Angeles on May 16.
Sieracki has a best of 16:10 in the 5000m distance and Lewis has a mark of 13:43. They will each be looking to improve upon these times as they continue their outdoor track seasons.
The women’s 5000m race is set for 8:35 p.m. and the men’s 5000m event at 8:55 p.m. (both times Pacific).
At the USATF 25k Championships held in Grand Rapids, Mich., on May 11, Dakotah Lindwurm finished in fifth place in the women’s field while Danny Docherty placed seventh in the men’s field.
Lindwurm’s time in the 25k was 1:28:01 (she had a half marathon split during the race of 1:13:39), with Docherty crossing the finish line in 1:17:12.
