Nadir attended Willmar High School, where he was a 4-time state qualifier, and ran a best of 15:40 in the 5k for cross country. He went on to Minnesota State University-Moorhead, where he won 7 Northern Sun Conference (NSIC) Championships, and set school records in the 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m and Cross Country 10k. In 2021, he won the Drake Relays 10,000m and was also the male track athlete of the year at the NSIC Outdoor Championships.

After completing his collegiate eligibility and graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Nadir worked both as an assistant coach for the MSU-Moorhead team and as a Sales Development Representative. He also pursued an MBA degree in addition to continuing to develop as an athlete over the longer distances, running personal bests of 1:03:23 in the half marathon, and 2:15:27 in the marathon. Notably, he placed 25th at the 2024 USA Olympic Team Trials Marathon in Orlando, FL.

Nadir joined Minnesota Distance Elite in August 2024 and has been excelling on the track and on the roads. He finished first at the Get in Gear Half Marathon and 12th at the USATF 25K Championships. While balancing his busy schedule, he will continue to challenge himself at the longer distances.
